This is a short story to be read after Book six. Since I just finished book six, Amazon recommended this to me. I was deep in Extinction town at this point, so I downloaded it! It’s only five chapters and about eighty pages long, so it was a quick read.
Don’t worry, it includes my favorite character (Apollo). Although he doesn’t get much to do, he does comfort Fitz, and the other soldiers. He comforted some kids that they rescued in Book six too. Basically everything you do (including fighting insanely weird / scary / disgusting / man-eating monsters) is better with a dog. If I could bring one of my dogs to work regularly, my life would be amazing. Even if he just slept at my feet allll day long (which is what both of the little buggers would do), just knowing he was there would bring me comfort and joy.
Anyway, I’m dog rambling. It happens all the time. This short story is about the remaining members of Team Ghost, and the scary ass mission they get sent on after the scary ass mission they finished in Europe. Apparently Greenland has some super secret Nazi lab, and they’re supposed to destroy it. Funnily enough though, EVERY TEAM that’s been sent in before them never comes out! They actually lose a whole helicopter full of soldiers on the way to Greenland. I liked this story. It was a nice quick interlude.

Also, I’ve decided that this is my new side eye response for EVERYTHING!
