Imagine. You’re engaged to your childhood sweetheart. It’s your wedding day. But instead of wearing white, you’re wearing black. It’s the church you were supposed to be married in, but instead of attending a wedding, you’re attending a funeral. And not just any funeral, but the funeral of you’re fiancé. This is where we meet Aimee. Instead of spending what’s supposed to be the best day of her life celebrating her marriage and future with her new husband, she is burying him instead. He was left for Mexico to travel for business and was killed in an accident.
As Aimee is leaving the funeral, she meets a women who is looking for her, a women that Aimee has never met. This women tells her that her husband is still alive. Aimee doesn’t believe her, how could he be alive since she’s at his funeral? Even though she doesn’t believe her, it does stick with Aimee, what if? What if he was alive? Through this story, we travel with Aimee moving on from the death of her husband, wondering if he really is dead and if what this women says is true.
